A personal hub for projects, interests, and technical work.
Caden Popps
I’m a software engineer with an interest in thoughtful technology, polished experiences, and the kinds of skills that reward precision, strategy, and iteration.
About
I’m a software engineer with a strong interest in building things that are clear, useful, and well-crafted. I care about both how systems work and how they feel to use — the structure behind the experience, and the details that make something feel polished instead of merely functional.
Outside of software, I’m drawn to interests that reward strategy, precision, and steady improvement. A lot of them look different on the surface, but they share the same core appeal: depth, refinement, and the satisfaction of getting better at something that can’t be rushed.
This site is a curated home for some of that work and a few of those interests. It is meant to be a simple, personal hub rather than a full public life feed.
Projects
This section highlights selected technical work, software projects, and other builds I’ve spent meaningful time on. Some are more professional, some more experimental, and some simply reflect ideas I found worth exploring.
What ties them together is a preference for clarity, usefulness, and clean execution. I’m especially interested in projects that involve thoughtful design, problem-solving, and turning complexity into something more intuitive.
Interests
Outside of software, I spend time on a mix of competitive, strategic, and performance-oriented interests. These include gaming, pool, chess, fitness, and other pursuits that reward focus, adaptation, and repetition over time.
I’m less interested in broadcasting everything than in keeping a few meaningful parts of my world in one place. This section exists as a selective glimpse into the interests that shape how I think, compete, and spend my time.
